Syrian Saya Kashmir Fabric-Majdalawi

This traditional Saya fabric is a cotton blend. It was woven in Syria and brought to Palestine. It can be used for multiple purposes (clothes, tapestries, etc.), though the main purpose is to utilize it when creating a traditional Palestinian dress (thobe). We encourage all Tatreez stitching their thobes in the diaspora to keep this conventional practice thriving.
